Tomorrow – Grand Rounds at OHSU on child and adolescent mental health care

The OHSU Department of Psychiatry would like to invite to Grand Rounds taking place this Tuesday, March 5, 2013 from noon – 1pm in conference room 8B60 (8th floor) of the main hospital.

Perspectives on Integrated Child and Adolescent Mental Health Care in Oregon

Tan Ngo, M.D., PGY-5 Psychiatry Fellow, Department of Psychiatry/OHSU

At the end of this presentation, participants should be able to:

  • Describe the basic levels of care in the current community mental systems in place for children and adolescents in Oregon

  • Analyze various perspectives from mental health organizations of the potential impact of the formation of Coordinated Care Organizations (CCO’s) on these systems

  • Describe different models of integrated mental health care for children and adolescents

  • Take perspective on the evolutions of the roles of a child psychiatrist with the emergence of integrated care

  • Discuss new ideas on how to implement these new roles in training


Oregon Health & Science University School of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.


OHSU School of Medicine, Division of CME, designates this live activity for maximum of 1.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit per session. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
