On Sunday, May 23, NAMI Multnomah’s team will join hundreds of supporters in the 5K NAMI Walk, raising awareness – and some much-needed funds – for mental health programs in Oregon and Southwest Washington.
Chris Shelamer-Terry, who will be walking with the team, would like your support! Last year, Chris raised $2,135 in donations, and she is hoping to double that amount in 2010. Help Chris reach her goal. To donate online, go to the Multnomah Walkers’ web page, scroll down and click on Chris’s name. You can also contact Chris directly:

Your contribution helps support programs like Family-to-Family groups, peer-mentored classes, and other vital resources for mental health information, support and advocacy. With your help, NAMI provides these services free of charge.
Whether you can give $5 or $500, your donation is central to keeping NAMI Multnomah alive and working for persons diagnosed with mental illnesses, their families and friends, and the community. You are also encouraged to join the walk!
