Two longtime community and social justice activists, Jason Renaud of the Mental Health Association of Portland, and Kathleen Saadat of the Chicago-based Rosenbaum & Watson LLC “Compliance Officer/Community Liaison,” hired by Mayor Charlie Hales to oversee the city’s response to United States v. City of Portland, appeared on local Portland radio in the last few days.
Saadat is a notable local civil service employee, representing government interests in areas of equity and diversity. She retired after a long career representing Multnomah County and the City of Portland.
Renaud was interviewed on KBOO radio by Jo Ann Hardesty on June 11.
Renaud speaks about four articles he’s written critical of the City’s review of undue force against persons with mental illness.
Saadat was interviewed on OPB.org by Dave Miller on the program Think Out Loud on June 24.
Saadat speaks about her new engagement with the Chicago-based company Rosenbaum & Watson LLC.
