Patrick Allen on the future of the Oregon Health Authority

Members of the Mental Health Association of Portland partering with the OHSU Department of Psychiatry hosted Patrick Allen, Director of the Oregon Health Authority to speak and answer questions, on January 4, 2018. Allen was introduced by State Representative Alissa Keny-Guyer.

Allen spoke on current issues facing OHA, including ballot measure 101, Federal delay renewing CHIP, the closure of FamilyCare.

About 150 people attended, including members of 4th Dimension Recovery Center, Disability Rights Oregon, Dual Diagnosis Anonymous, the Mental Health Association of Portland, Street Roots, the NAACP – Portland Branch, the Portland Alano Club, and Oregon Recovers. The event was sponsored by the sponsors of the Oregon Law & Mental Health Conference.
