The Independent Police Review Division (IPR) would like to extend our best wishes to you and your family. May this season bring you and your family the gifts of peace, hope and joy.

We would like to acknowledge the hard work of the Citizen Review Committee for their service to the people of Portland. We also thank the CRC alumni for their willingness to serve as Appeal Process Advisors through out the year. Last but not least, we would like to give a very special thank you to Dr. Rochelle Silver for her dedication to outreach and for tabling at every Fix-it Fair in the last three years.

2013 has been an evenful year for us. Constantin Severe became IPR’s new Director, we hired a new Assistant Director, Anika Bent-Albert, our office moved to the first floor of City Hall, and thanks to the support from Portland City Council, we were able to hire an additional three Investigators and a full-time Office Support staff member.
