An Oak Grove teen fatally shot by Clackamas County deputies during an apparent mental health crisis at his apartment last month told authorities that he was going to die that day, court documents say.
About ninety minutes before Christopher Kalonji, 19, was to appear for a 9 a.m. hearing in Multnomah County Circuit Court on Jan. 28, he called 911 to report seeing someone outside his second-story bedroom with a handgun. He also told dispatchers that he was armed and concerned about Donald Trump, Leonardo DiCaprio and the corruption of public funds, according to a search warrant affidavit, but denied having a mental illness.
